The MYKITA // Amare disrupts the conventional production process for acetate frames, MYKITA has created a brand new aesthetic for this eyewear category. Instead of going through a tumbling and polishing process, frames are simply sandblasted after being cut. The chiseled, raw edges on the resulting eyewear are traces of the acetate milling process; sandblasting creates a frosted, chilled appearance of the acetate surface. The unique surface treatment debuts voluminous, bold sunglasses from the MYKITA ACETATE collection.
