Khadi, hand spun and handwoven organic cotton woven by Udyog Bharti has been hand embroidered by Md Ashraf, a skilled embroiderer from Bengal, using a chain stitch technique called Ari. Each panel is individually embroidered on a frame before the garment is stitched.
